From 12 years old constant updatescharacters and content, Warframe becomes an exceptional gaming beast. And since many of you use mobile devices and are probably just getting started, this can be difficult. Luckily, Digital Extremes has taken notice, and their latest update, The Vallis Undermind, promises big changes.
But first of all, in this latest update there is, of course, a brand new Warframe! Nokko, the 62nd Warframe, is a true “fun guy”. Considering his mushroom-inspired gear and aesthetic, it shouldn't surprise you that his abilities revolve around those mushrooms.
Whether you're throwing poison mushrooms to damage enemies and put them to sleep, growing buff mushrooms to periodically boost your allies' defenses, or turning them into mushroom sproddings that heal quickly while remaining unpickable. You can even throw a ballistic mushroom that will bounce and explode on anything it hits!
Is there room for more?
Best of all, you can earn Nokko completely free with the necessary blueprints and resources through Nightcap Contracts! This is alongside the new Deep Mines environment and the much requested Oberon rework also coming in this update!
But enough about that, what is this fresh start for new players? Well, as part of a planned overhaul of the new player experience, Digital Extremes has introduced a brand new cinematic quest at the start of the game.
The teacher places you under the tutelage of Tenshin, which was developed in collaboration with Sumo Digital. This can only be completed once per account, but will help those of you starting your Origin journey with the new Thornback Rifle as an exclusive reward!
