Battlefield 6The most egregious exploit allows players to challenge physics and EA's own movement nerfs by jumping around maps using faulty ladders, and the developers are already working on a fix.
Now when I say bouncing I mean big bouncing. For example, bounces of 40-50 feet. As demonstrated in numerous video on social networksThe Assault class can position their ladders against walls so that when you climb up and then turn away from the wall, you jump up and fly into the air as if you had a jetpack.
For reasons I probably don't need to explain, this is a pretty serious balance issue. While it's certainly fun to watch and perhaps even more fun to play, I can only imagine how frustrating it would be to lose a battle to someone who used this exploit. Additionally, this glitch effectively negates the intentions behind these EA movement nerf implemented following beta feedback and in day one patch.
Luckily, EA seems to have caught wind of the staircase vulnerability. Battlefield lead producer David Sirland responded to a video showing the glitch and simply said, “We'll fix it.”
Of course, there's no way to know how long it will take for the fix to appear, especially since we haven't received a patch since the update was released. However, as much as I enjoy watching people jump on stairs, I'm an adult and I'm encouraged that EA is publicly acknowledging the problem and committing to fixing it.
