SPOILER ALERT: This story contains spoilers from the Tuesday, October 14th episode of the series.Dancing with the Stars“
It was the most emotional night of the 34th season of Dancing with the Stars. At the dedication evening, each of the ten remaining couples performed a number in honor of someone special in their lives, which meant several reunions throughout the evening. It also meant the return of a special guest – former pro Kim Johnson returned to the ballroom as a guest judge.
Early in the evening, Robert Irwin dedicated his dance to his mother, who became his support after the death of his father, Steve Irwin. The contemporary number left the entire room in tears, including judge Derek Hough, who could barely speak his words. Hough previously danced with Bindi Irwin.
Elaine Hendricks, best known for her role inThe Parent Trap“, dedicated her dance to Lisa Ann Walter, her co-star in the 1998 film. Dennis Quaid, who starred in the film with the couple, cheered her on from the audience.
Daniel Fishel dedicated his dance To “Boy meets world“teacher Bill Daniels, who played Mr. Feeny in her Topanga Lawrence. In addition to Daniels, who joined Fishel and Pasha Pashkov on the ballroom floor, her co-stars came to support her, including Will Friedle (Eric Matthews), Betsy Randle (Amy Matthews), William Russ (Alan Matthews), Trina McGee (Angela Moore), Bonnie Bartlett. (Lila Bolander and Williams' wife), Matthew Lawrence (Jack Hunter) and Alex Desert (Eli Williams).
The show is over without an exception that surprised the actors. This left Dylan Efron at the top of the leaderboard and Andy Richter at the bottom.
At the end of the evening, no one was eliminated! And for the first time in the show's history, it surpassed 50 million votes.
