Indie developer Friedemann has announced his latest project, Slots and Daggerswill be released on October 24th on PC via Steam. Published by Future Friends Games, the game combines the excitement of a slot machine with the strategy of a roguelike adventure, promising an experience that's both compact and fun. Along with the announcement, a new trailer and an updated free demo were also released at Steam Next Fest.
Slots & Daggers takes players into a retro fantasy world where every battle takes place on a slot machine. Each spin determines your next move, from swinging your blade to casting spells or sipping potions at just the right moment. Combat rewards both skill and luck, requiring quick reflexes and sharp thinking as you take on eccentric enemies such as Red Desert Gunmen, Kula Knights, Hammer Goblins and even a quirky fighter named Ike.
