Fantasy Football Week 7 Quarterback Preview: Starts, sits, streamers, DFS plays and more

There are three defenders that I weekly Fantasy football the forecasts did not come true: Drake Maye, Daniel JonesAnd Sam Darnold. All three played mostly amazing football, but for one reason or another I found it difficult to fully believe in them. First of all, Drake May, I no longer have any doubts. He has completely convinced me that he is already a very good QB and will be in my top 10 most weeks. He registered as QB8 in the early rankings this week, and even I think that's a bit low. But the funny thing about the seventh week is that even without Josh Allen And Lamar JacksonThis is a very good week at QB. Because of this, Jones and Darnold are still outside the top 12.

The problem with projecting both Jones and Darnold is the same: volume transfer. Jones averages 30 pass attempts per game and has only exceeded that number twice. Darnold averages just 26.8 pass attempts per game. This is a huge problem if you don't run much. Darnold's absence isn't a surprise, but Jones was all over the place, with three games with five or more attempts and two games with one. Now you might be wondering why I say you need to throw a lot if Jones and Darnold didn't do that but were still good. Well, it's because Darnold is leading NFL with 9.6 yards per pass attempt (career 7.1), and Jones averages an also elite 8.3 (career 6.6). As a general rule, I don't project QBs for more than eight yards per attempt unless I'm confident they're an elite passer or facing a terrible defense. The defenses Jones and Darnold faced this week were two of the top four against QBs this year.

Let's move on to the rest of the preview:
