Australian-American studio Confused Grandma Games has announced that Can't Stop Rory will be taking part in Steam Next Fest this October. During the event, players can look forward to trying out a new exclusive demo, which will also provide the latest information on the game's release date.
Can't Stop Rory combines cozy farming and intense base defense in a vibrant post-apocalyptic world. By day, players grow crops, harvest crops, and expand their farms using clever upgrades and creative decorations. As night falls, the tone changes as hungry creatures attack settlements, breaking through barriers to destroy everything in sight. The goal is to create a haven of peace and prepare for the chaos that will come once the sun goes down.
The upcoming Steam Next Fest demo will feature new mechanics and a preview of the final game's features. Players will meet Rory and his cat Grain, and those who enjoy the demo are encouraged to add the game to their wishlist.
More than just a farming experience, the game combines several genres including tower defense, time management and combat. Players can unlock new crops, tools and techniques to increase efficiency and earn more money.
