Taylor Swift has responded to rumors that she will stop making music as soon as she gets married.
The singer claims that The life of a dancer won't be her last album as she prepares to tie the knot with fiancé Travis Kelce.
During his transition to Scott Mills Breakfast ShowOn BBC Radio 2, presenter Scott Mills asked him: “Taylor, don't tell me this is your last album?”
“What? No,” Taylor Swift countered, prompting the host to explain: “I just saw fans saying, 'Well, she's going to get married and have kids and that's going to be the last album.'
Laughing, the 35-year-old star called the display “outrageously offensive.”
“That’s not why people get married,” she continued. This is not about quitting your job.”
When Scott Mills suggested fans were “pissed off” that she wouldn't be releasing any more albums, Taylor Swift explained that her future husband, the 36-year-old football star, would never want her to give up her career. “Oh, I know they like to go crazy sometimes, but I love the person I'm with because they like what I do and they like how satisfied I am with art and music,” she said. Taylor Swift went on to note that she and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end have difficult careers.
