Liam Payne looked to be having a 'beautiful day in Argentina' just hours before his death on Wednesday, according to what appears to be a series of recent messages posted to his Snapchat account.
The former One Direction member was found dead in a hotel courtyard in Buenos Aires after apparently falling 13 to 14 meters from a balcony, according to local police. The cause of death has not been officially established, and it is unclear whether the fall was accidental or intentional.
However, from his Snapchat story, it would appear to any fan that Payne was enjoying a relaxing vacation. In deleted posts hours before his death, he posted a video on the front in which he told followers: “It's a beautiful day here in Argentina. This is the breakfast table. Just enjoying coffee and breakfast even though it's 1 p.m.”
His girlfriend Kate Cassidy can be heard screaming: “We literally sleep in until at least 12 every day. We're such losers!” It is unclear when the photographs were taken.
Other photos show the former One Direction star's extravagant breakfast, a view from his outdoor courtyard, and a photo of his sleeping dog.
“We’re riding today,” Payne said. “We're going horse riding. I think I'll be playing polo again, which will put me out of action again for about six weeks.”
The photos continued to be published after Payne's death was first reported, suggesting they were pre-planned. The latest photo was posted at 5:30 p.m. and consists of a mirror selfie of him and Cassidy posing in bikinis. According to Daily mailthe image was a throwback photo Cassidy posted last year in celebration of her 30th birthday.
