The Kansas City Chiefs returned home to Arrowhead Stadium on October 12 to take on the Detroit Lions in Week 6 of the 2025 NFL season. And although Taylor Swift busy with promotion her 12th studio album”,Life of a Dancer” which came out on October 3rd, she still made it to Arrowhead to support her fiancé Travis Kelsey.
The Chiefs and Lions, who have won their last four games, are Super Bowl contenders this season.
The prime-time game begins at Arrowhead at 8:20 pm ET on Sunday Night Football on NBC and Peacock. (Peacock is owned by NBCUniversal, the parent company of TODAY.com.)
Swift was spotted live in the Arrowhead box with WNBA superstar Kaitlyn Clarke.
Swift and Clark were together at a Chiefs game last season.when Kansas City and the Houston Texans met in the playoffs in January. Swift's parents, Andrea and Scott Swift, were also there.
Asked by ESPN Of appearing in a suite with Swift at that game, Clark said, “We're just having normal conversations like every other person at Arrowhead Stadium that night.”
She called Swift “one of the nicest people I've ever been with.”
“Everyone says that when you meet her, but it’s really true,” she added. “She treats everyone with the same kindness and her family has been wonderful.”
Clarke is a longtime Swift supporter; Indiana Fever's security guard visited several stops on Swift's Eras Tour and told Time magazine that she met Kelsey and Swift's mother at concerts in Indianapolis.
When Fever finished their season this year, Clarke spoke in a press release on the same day Swift's new album was released: tell reporters: “Thanks guys. Be sure to listen to A Dancer's Life tonight.”
