Fields added that at that point the Jets were thinking “not to let [the Broncos] finish the half with the ball.” New York was getting the ball early in the second half, and after dominating the offense, they may have just wanted to regroup in the locker room.

The fans, the media – you all need to see that we are playing like we have nothing to lose. I don't think it was there today. We're 0-6, man. Like, why?”

Meanwhile, the Jets saw Fields have just 45 passing yards on 9-of-17, while Wilson had three catches for 13 yards. As a team, the Jets had just 82 yards per game to the Broncos' 246.
“Our guys fought hard,” head coach Aaron Glenn said of his Jets after the game. “Obviously it wasn't enough.”
