Why is Rumble banned in Brazil?
In February 2025, Brazil's Supreme Court confirmed that Rumble would be banned in the South American country for allegedly refusing to comply with court orders.
Among the reasons for the decision was a video-sharing platform allowing Allan dos Santos, a fugitive in Brazil and a staunch supporter of controversial former President Jair Bolsonaro, to continue posting on the site.
Rumble said in a statement that the company is facing “unprecedented censorship in Brazil” and continues to fight the action.
