wife's sisters The star shared her relationship with her ex-father Kody Brown after sharing an inspirational quote on social media about being “worth your energy.”
When a follower responded to Madison, 29, saying they “lack this skill,” she shared a screenshot of her response in a DM on her Instagram Stories on Oct. 10, which read, “Your father telling lies about you for the whole world to hear will teach you that VERY QUICKLY.”
Subsequently IG Stories In the post, the reality star responded to an anonymous question wondering if she had sought “professional therapy” to cope with her difficult relationship with her father.
“Yes, I see a professional therapist from time to time,” she wrote. “I got a lot of benefit from it. I think anyone [who] comes from a complex family dynamic, can benefit from it.”
Madison, who shares children Axel8, Evie6, Josephine2 and Emilia6 months, with husband Caleb Brush-recently spoke in detail about her long-term estrangement TLC's Cody, 56, gets emotional as she reflects on the distance between them.
