Une autre blessure sérieuse pour Josh Norris

The season had barely begun when the Buffalo Sabers found themselves without one of their best center players, as Josh Norris will be forced to miss a “significant amount of time.”

This was confirmed by head coach Lindy Ruff on Saturday.

“It's the upper body. It has nothing to do with what he had in the past,” the latter said during a press conference.

The 26-year-old American's already extensive injury history continues. Norris never played more than 66 games in a season in the National League.

The former Ottawa Senators were injured on a faceoff during Thursday's game against the New York Rangers. The Sabers lost the first game 4–0.

Most notably, Norris had to miss most of the 2022-23 season due to a recurring shoulder issue, which also impacted his playing time the following year. He was traded to the Sabers last March for Dylan Cozens, but missed the last 18 games with a torn oblique muscle.

In 240 career National League games, Norris has 158 points, including 91 goals.
