Meghan, Duchess of Sussex wishes her daughter Lilibet a Happy International Day of the Girl Child.
To mark the occasion, the former Meghan Markle shared an adorable post. Instagram on Oct. 11, which featured two new images of her 4-year-old daughter.
In the first frame of the post, Meghan shared a short video of Lilibet running across the yard on the grass. The video was followed by a photo of the mother-daughter duo standing side by side as she held Lilibeth's hand.
Meghan wrote an inspiring message in the caption, saying, “To all the girls out there, the world belongs to you.”
“Do what you can to protect your rights, use your voice, support each other,” she continued. “We'll do the same for you. It's your right and our responsibility. Go get 'em, girl! Happy International Day of the Girl Child.”
Meghan and her husband Prince Harry. parents of two children: son Archie, born May 2019and daughter Lilibet, born June 2021.
To celebrate Lilibet's fourth birthday is in June, Meghan shared two black and white photos. Instagram. The first shot was a later shot of her holding her daughter on a boat, followed by a photo of Meghan posing with newborn Lilibet.
“Happy birthday to our beautiful girl! She came into our lives four years ago today – and every day gets brighter and better because of it,” Meghan wrote in the caption. “Thank you to everyone who is sending love and celebrating her special day!”
The parents of two have decided to keep their children out of the spotlight, including hiding their faces on social media.
Meghan previously told Oprah Winfrey that she believes that “everyone has a fundamental right to privacy.” She then added: “I think life is about sharing stories and parts of our lives that you're comfortable with.”
Neither Lilibeth nor Archie appeared in her Netflix series Love, Megan, but she mentioned them several times.
In the series, she talked about her mother's life, including saying that both of her children big fans of her fruit jamthat Lilibet dances a little when she likes to eat, and that her daughter's favorite color is pink.
Although they don't appear on screen in the series, Megan shared the look of her children from behind the scenes on the set in September.
Taking to social media, Meghan posted a snap of Archie and Lilibeth next to each other as they appeared to be watching their mum on a monitor. Other photos show Lilibet sitting in the director's chair, her head turned away from the camera, and Archie holding a clapperboard.
