Stop the invasion in Wanted Shadows: Unchained
Indie studio Conradical games has released a free Steam demo for its upcoming survival action game Wanted Shadows: Unchained. Players can try it out now ahead of the full game's release later this year.
The game will be released in the fourth quarter and will be available on Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC via Steam. Those who already own the 2023 version of Wanted Shadows on Steam will receive a 50% discount on Unchained as part of a bundle deal at release.
A standalone reimagining of the original game, Unchained rebuilds the gameplay experience from the ground up. It features compact arenas designed for intense, fast-paced combat, as well as a deeper progression system that rewards experimentation and skill. Players will battle waves of enemies in tight arenas where movement, weapon choice, and upgrade combinations are critical. Between fights, the new hub brings the world together, adding context and progression to the chaos.
The game encourages players to expand their capabilities by unlocking permanent weapons and mastering powerful synergies between upgrades. Each run becomes a test of reflexes, strategy and endurance against increasingly dangerous enemies.
Whether you're returning from the original or diving into the series for the first time, Wanted Shadows: Unchained offers the most complete and refined version of Conradical Games' signature survivor-like gameplay. The free demo, now available on Steam, gives players a sneak preview of the action before the game's full launch later this year.
