Cardi B Passed on BIA Diss Video to Not ‘Bully’ on Her Album Day

Cardi B She may be pretty and petty, but she wants to make it clear that she's not a bully. During an Instagram Live video broadcast Thursday night. Am I drama? The rapper said that she refused to release a video for the song “Cute and small” her BMA diss track on the day of her enemy's album release.

“This is how I work: I know how stressful it is to release an album. And I know how screwed you are when you release an album. I feel like if I did a video for 'Pretty and Petty' this week or today… I feel like I'll be screwed,” Cardi explained on her livestream. “And I don’t want to feel like a bully.”

The Instagram Live came as BIA – Cardi's direct target on “Pretty and Petty” – released her own album called Bianca. The album includes a collaboration with Becky G, “Hard Way,” which samples Shakira's “Hips Don't Lie,” as well as collaborations with Young Miko and Ty Dolla $ign.

“When I bully, God takes from me. Unless this bitch isn't bullying me and put me on her dusty album, I'm not making a video reciting her diss track or anything on a day when I know she's stressed,” Cardi said. “Because then I know God will punish me.”

Cardi added that she will instead decide to film a video for “Pretty and Petty” next week and will choose another video for her songs to release on Friday. “I’m going to be nice to you because today is your album day,” Cardi said. “I don't want to add to your stress. I'm not as bad a person as people think I am.”

In the BIA diss track, Cardi directly called out the singer, rapping, “Name five BIA songs, gun pointed at your head,” “It's been two years since you put a number on the board,” and “They only book you when they can't afford Coi.” [Leray]”
