United Rugby Championship
Munster (10) 20
Tries: Smith, Milne 2, Wycherley
Edinburgh (12) 19
Tries: Ashman, Vellacott, Graham Conversions: Healy 2
Munster shrugged off four missed conversion attempts and took advantage of four yellow cards to ensure Edinburgh bounced back with a one-point lead in Cork.
Fineen Wycherley's late try was enough to give the hosts three wins from three in the United Rugby Championship, while the visitors will rue those moments of ill-discipline as they suffered their second narrow defeat of the season.

Both teams scored missed tries within the first seven minutes, with Andrew Smith firing a long shot from a fast lineout and Scotland hooker Ewan Ashman responding with a maul.
Edinburgh scrum-half Ben Vellacott then struck from close range shortly after the home lineout was cleared, with Ben Healy adding extras after his earlier attempt deflected off the post.
Two yellows followed within two minutes of each other, with temporary substitute Glen Young breaching the goal line and Darcy Ray making a high tackle.

Against 13 men, Munster reduced the half-time deficit to two points when Ireland international Michael Milne broke through to mark his first start of the season.
JJ Hanrahan saw his shot go wide again.
Back at full strength, Edinburgh extended their lead through a fine try from Darcy Graham, with the Scottish striker hitting James Lang's delicate cross-field drive for Healy to intercept.
Milne's second try followed a poor yellow entry from Freddie Douglas and Edinburgh were drained again when Wycherley came on in the 73rd minute and visiting captain Magnus Bradbury was sent to the bin for a crocodile.

In a frantic finale, Munster number eight Gavin Coombs fell with the clock on 80 but the score was quickly overturned due to an earlier knockdown.
However, 14-man Edinburgh were unable to generate any other response.
