The president of auction house Heffel Fine Art said many of the items his company is preparing to sell in Hudson Bay online auction will be available to collectors even with a small budget.

That's because some of the 4,400 pieces of art and artifacts will be offered by David Heffel Auction House with no minimum bid, allowing them to attract bids as low as $100.

HBC has not yet revealed what will be offered in the online sales, which begin in November and run through December, but it has hinted that it will mostly be items from the company's retail era.

Heffel said the auction will include HBC quilts, rare coins, antiques and collectible toys.

In addition to the online sales, Heffel will host a live auction in November. 27 valuable paintings HBC had it. One of the paintings was by former British Prime Minister Winston Churchill and is estimated at $400,000 to $600,000.
