Los Angeles Dodgers led the Philadelphia Phillies after an 11-inning thriller in Game 4 of the National League Division Series on Thursday night.
The Dodgers had the bases with two outs in the bottom of the 11th with outfielder Andy Pages at the plate against Phillies pitcher Orion Kerkering. Pages hit a bouncing grounder to Kerkering, who had trouble fielding the ball. He needed to make a hasty throw to the catcher. JT Realmutobut he threw it too high and out of reach.

Hyesung Kim scored the winning run to give Los Angeles a 2-1 victory. The Dodgers' defending World Series title was still alive.
Phillies players were seen consoling Kerkering on the bench as he stared at the field in disbelief.
Philadelphia drew first blood in the top of the seventh. Nick Castellanos hit a double to left field to score Max Kepler. Philadelphia simply needed to use their depth in the bullpen to keep Los Angeles at bay and survive to play at least one more game.
