Madison Beer Releases New Single ‘Bittersweet’

The emotional track follows her recent return to music with “Yes Baby.”

Madison Beer released a new single “Bittersweet”. The reflective track follows her recent release. “Yes baby” which she shared in September.

“Now that it’s over, you blame it on me,” she croons in the song. “I know I should be bitter, but baby/ Right now I'm bitter/ Bittersweet/ I'm going through what you put me through/ And I'd say I'm tired of crying, but baby/ I don't lie like you.”

“‘Bittersweet’ is about the end of a chapter and how hard it can be to come to terms with it, but also about accepting that deep down you know it’s for the best and finding peace with that along the way,” Beer explained in a statement.

“Yes Baby” and “Bittersweet” will mark Beer's return to music in 2025. Before the release of new songs, her latest single “15 minutes” fell in July 2024. A few months earlier, in February, she released “Make you mine” which will be nominated for a Grammy for Best Pop Dance Recording earlier this year. (The song eventually lost out to Charli XCX's “Von Dutch.”)

The singer is set to perform at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in New York on October 15. The performance will be broadcast on Prime Video and Amazon Live to US audiences, as well as globally on Victoria's Secret's YouTube, TikTok and Instagram accounts.
