The NBA's all-time leading scorer announced his “second decision” was new branded bottlebut he had teased the announcement the day before, with many thinking the “decision” would involve him retiring at the end of the season.
After the teaser was released, Andrew Garcia purchased two tickets on Ticketmaster for the Los Angeles Lakers game against the Cleveland Cavaliers, who drafted James in 2003, for about $432 each. TMZ Sport.

Garcia told TMZ Sports that James owes him for “fraud, deception, misrepresentation, and any grounds for legal recovery.”
“I wouldn’t have bought him if he wasn’t going to retire. Everything is simple and clear,” Garcia told the publication.
According to StubHub, after the teaser video appeared, the average ticket price nearly doubled from $250 to $500, with sales increasing 20-fold in the first hour after the announcement, mostly for the team's final home game of the season.
A representative for James did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital's request for comment.
In a teaser on Monday, James said the announcement would be “the solution to all solutions” and rumors have grown as he soon begins his record-breaking 23rd season in the NBA.
James, 40, gave little clarity last week about his plans for a possible retirement.

“I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to play the game I love for another season,” James said on Sept. 29. “However the journey turns out this year, I’m very interested because I don’t know when the end will come. I know it’s a lot sooner rather than later.”
James showed little sign of slowing down. During his 40-year season, he averaged 24.4 points, 8.2 assists and 7.8 rebounds. He had 10 triple-doubles last season, his best since 2019-20, when he won his fourth NBA championship.
Since turning 40 on December 30, James has averaged 25.1 points per game, more than any player age 40 or older.

James became the first player in NBA history to play in the league at the same time as his son. Bronny Jameswho was drafted by the Lakers last summer. Together they played 21 games.
