How to Find the Right Equalizer Setting
iPhone and Android devices have a manual equalizer slider and several pre-made equalizers based on genres.
You should see a manual EQ slider that looks like a line graph with six dots. When you first arrive at this page, the equalizer should be flat.
Each point on the graph can be adjusted to produce more or less sound. The leftmost band represents your bass, the rightmost band controls the treble, and the middle band controls, you guessed it, the mids. You can customize the stripes as you wish.
This page also has equalizers by genre. You can choose what genre you listen to, and the app automatically adjusts the sliders to optimize for that style of music. Once you select one, you can further adjust the sliders to achieve your ideal listening experience.
If you want to reset the equalizer, there is a genre-based equalizer called Flat. This will return the equalizer to its default settings.
Changing these settings can really make your music pop.
