Boomer Esiason mocks Suzyn Waldman in latest Yankees radio moment

New York Yankees radio voice Suzine Waldman is back in the spotlight as a WFAN personality.

Former Boomer Esiason radio host Craig Carton regularly criticized Waldman, and this week former Cincinnati Bengals the quarterback appears to have renewed the rivalry.

Esiason's jibe comes after a recent light-hearted exchange between Waldman and Dave Sims, the voice of the Bronx Bombers. The 2025 season will be the first time Waldman and Sims will work together in the Yankees broadcast booth.

Those conversations prompted WFAN morning host Gregg Giannotti to wonder if Waldman harbored some degree of jealousy over any endorsement deals Sims had made.

As part of one of the latest Sims offerings, the host shared a promotional post for Dude Wipes. Esiason took note of the ad and jokingly came up with a theory about Waldman.

“She could use, uh, daily fresh Vagisil wipes.” Esiason said. “I couldn’t even say it with a straight face. I couldn't. I mean, there are all kinds of feminine wipes.”

Fox News Digital reached out to WFAN's parent company, Audacy, for comment but did not receive an immediate response. Representatives for Waldman could not be reached.

This isn't the first time this season that Esiason has made headlines with comments related to a Yankees broadcast.

Esiason also poked fun at Sims after the broadcaster missed a day of work at the start of the 2025 season.

Carton often used a long-held—and what many considered unflattering—impression of Waldman during his appearance on the station's morning program.

Waldman was able to put the controversy behind her during the Yankees' 2024 season while working alongside Carton.
