Turns out there's a lovely little Silent Hill 1 Easter egg hidden inside. Silent Hill f what people with musical inclinations have discovered.
Sheet music was found on a cork board in Silent Hill School. It turns out that these notes are the old SIlent Hill 1 theme. It's a nice callback to a game that largely avoids obvious connections to the original series, save for some small references here and there.
You can see the Easter egg solved streamer Frankieloliawho noticed the notes and asked an audience member to play them on the guitar before directly comparing them to the original theme. This classic Silent Hill theme remains one of the most iconic horror game themes of all time and deserves a callback.
Silent Hill f is currently extremely popular. The game is selling faster than the remake of Silent Hill 2.. The first completely new game in the series that is not a remake since Silent Hill: Downpour In 2012 (that is, if you don't count PT), SIlent Hill f demonstrated a huge return to form for the long-dormant creepy game series.
