Regarding Donald Trump's renewed talk of Canada wanting to become the 51st state, why would the US or any other country for that matter want to take over dysfunctional Canada?

Can you imagine the problems they will face? Let's start with bilingualism, the metric system, socialist politicians, climate change, high taxes, runaway immigration, declining health care, high youth unemployment, Canada's massive debt, regional differences, lax justice systems, crime-ridden cities, subsidizing our poor provinces, defense supply management councils, declining military capabilities, decay of urban infrastructure, politicized police. organizations, liberalized mainstream media, questionable school and university programs, and bloated and ineffective government at all levels. Did I miss anything? Oh, I just remembered – the Maple Leafs.

CHANGE IS INEVITABLE
Regarding the postal strike, change is inevitable in most businesses, so adaptation is necessary.
Daily home delivery to your door, for the few who still have it, will eventually disappear. CUPW should strive to provide employment for its current employees by reducing staff only through attrition.
Nothing else will simply happen, and union members striking now will lose pay to no avail.

I thought Mark Carney was the current Prime Minister of Canada. It seems like every week since the end of April this year he has been going across the pond for tea and scones with his EU and WEF friends. I admire Jason Jacques, the interim parliamentary budget director, for having the courage to tell it like it is. It's time Canadians realized what a bunch of incompetent leaders we have and have had over the last decade.
Of course, we are educated enough to make the right decisions when voting, and not vote blindly like our parents and grandparents did.
