Swimming pools
Available: iOS
If you're looking to hold on to the last of the Halloween spirit, Pools might be the perfect solution—and it's not because there are terrifying monsters to slay or brain-eating zombies to run from. There is essentially nothing here – and that alone is incredibly creepy.
This exploration game will have you wandering through empty corridors and pools in silence, and whether it's a meditative experience or not is entirely up to your imagination. It also states that “no one is watching you here,” but honestly, I think the lady is protesting too much.

Sonic Rumble
From all that unsettling silence, we move on to something less unnerving and more chaotic with Sonic Rumble, a new multiplayer game set in the colorful world of everyone's favorite blue hedgehog. It's still all about speed, as you join multiplayer battles with up to 32 players, with everyone from Sonic himself to the nefarious Dr. Eggman joining the fray.
Along with popular characters from the series, the battle royale also features iconic levels like Green Hill Zone and Sky Sanctuary, so if you've started to feel like racing against a fast hedgehog is boring, this real-life Rumble could be just the thing to get your adrenaline pumping again.

MapleStory: Idle RPG
The fan-favorite classic returns with a twist in MapleStory: Idle RPG, Nexon's modernized take on the old-school franchise for mobile gamers who are always on the move. It has the same beloved feel as the original, but this time with auto-combat features, so if you're looking to get into RPGs but don't really want to grind, the auto-growing and idle rewards here should be just right for you. lane.
There are now plenty of settings to tinker with if you want to get a little more hands-on experience, as well as PvP battles to take part in to prove your prowess in automated battles. And with sign-up events currently underway, it's worth getting as many freebies as possible!

Hero Seekers
It's a bleak and hopeful world where heroes' resources are limited, but luckily you can change all that by becoming, as the name suggests, a Hero Seeker.
In this pixel art adventure, you'll be tasked with restoring a sense of goodness and justice to a land where heroes have been forgotten. You can form a team of up to five heroes and develop the best combination of skills for maximum damage, as well as create fantastic synergies to spice up every battle. The game also features classic turn-based combat and plenty of dungeon crawling to scratch that JRPG itch.

Sword of justice
With smarter NPCs that interact and react more dynamically, it's hard not to become completely immersed in the magnificent world of Sword of Justice. This free-to-play MMORPG has a strong focus on fairness, especially as it strives to eschew any pay-to-win mechanics in favor of resources that can be entirely earned through gameplay.
All this on top of a rich oriental fantasy world, stunning graphics and no fixed paths – suffice to say there is true open world freedom here.
