Nineteen more pistachios and pistachio-containing products have been recalled in Canada due to concerns about possible salmonella contamination.
They join a growing list of pistachio-related product recalls. amid an ongoing food safety investigation.
The public can check the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) recall lists to see the combined list more than 200 such productswhich is updated regularly.
As of Tuesday, the following 19 products are also under recall on new lists involving eight provinces:
- Pistachio kernels are sold in varying quantities at the Grand Bazaar, located at 8112 Scott Rd., Unit #420, Surrey, British Columbia, from August 11 to November 26.
- Raw pistachios sold in 200 gram units at Greco's Specialty Foods Market located at 6886 King George Blvd., Surrey, British Columbia from July 12, 2024 to November 24, 2025.
- Pistachios sold in varying quantities at Sunrise Market, 300 Powell St., Vancouver, from July 9, 2024 to July 9, 2025.
- Raw natural pistachios in quantities of 160 grams, sold in Quebec under the brand Paparico Rôtisseur de noix. The affected products have a UPC number of 0 62467 00104 4. - Raw, shelled pistachio kernels in 10 kilogram quantities are sold under the Tootsi brand to hotels, restaurants, institutions and manufacturers in British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario, Quebec and Nova Scotia. Affected products have a UPC number 10828779103060 and lot number 011103.
- Raw, shelled pistachio kernels sold in one-kilogram quantities under the Yupik brand and distributed in British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario and Quebec. The affected products have a UPC number of 8 05509 10306 7, lot number of 25189 and an expiration date of January 8, 2027.
- Raw pistachio kernels sold in one kilogram quantities under the Yupik brand and distributed in Alberta. The affected products have a UPC number of 8 05509 07033 8, lot number of 25163 and an expiration date of June 12, 2027.
- Raw nut mixes sold in quantities of 11.34 kilograms under the Tootsi Impex Inc. brand. and distributed in British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec and New Brunswick. These products were sold to hotels, restaurants, institutions and manufacturers. The affected products have a UPC number (01) 0 0890311 11476 9, domestic lot number 25 195 and an expiration date of July 14, 2026.
- Nature Trail Blend, sold in 11.34 kg quantities under the Tootsi Impex Inc. brand. and distributed to hotels, restaurants, institutions and manufacturers in British Columbia, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec and PEI. 2026.
- Costco Brittle Mix, sold in 12.02 kg quantities under the Tootsi Impex Inc. brand. and distributed at retail in Ontario. The affected products have a UPC number of (01) 0 0890311 99817 8. - 11.34 kilograms of dry roasted unsalted pistachio kernels sold under the Tootsi Impex Inc. brand. hotels, restaurants, institutions and manufacturers in British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario, Quebec and Nova Scotia. The affected products have a UPC number (01) 0 0890311 10334 3, domestic lot number 25 168 and an expiration date of March 17, 2026.
- Dry-roasted salted pistachio kernels in quantities of 10 kg are sold under the Tootsi Impex Inc. brand. hotels, restaurants, institutions and manufacturers in British Columbia, Manitoba, Ontario and Quebec. The affected products have a UPC number (01) 0 0890311 10316 9, domestic lot number 25 196 and an expiration date of April 15, 2026.

- 500 gram raw pistachio kernels are available at Amiri Supermarket, 27 Scott Street, Kitchener, Ontario from July 3 to August 3, 2024.
- Shelled pistachios in varying quantities are sold at Bet Nahrain Middle Eastern Food & Bakery, located at 10248 152 St., Unit #101, Surrey, British Columbia, from August 16, 2024 to November 21, 2025. The affected products are UPC #7065.
- Raw pistachios are sold in various quantities at Chahine Supermarket located at #1-7196 Temple Dr. NE, in Calgary, from October 29 to December 31, 2024. Affected products have UPC numbers starting with numbers. 2 006020, according to the CFIA.
- Pistachios are sold in one pound quantities at Al Noor Halal Meat & Grocery, located at 2497 Clearbrook Rd., Abbotsford, British Columbia, from January 22 to March 31, 2025.
- A-1 Spice brand pistachios are sold in 200 gram quantities at A-1 Spice Grocery located at #96-5555 Castleridge Blvd. NE in Calgary from October 18, 2024 to December 11, 2025. The affected products have UPC number 10021.
- A-1 Spice brand pistachios are sold in 400 gram quantities at A-1 Spice Grocery located at #96-5555 Castleridge Blvd. NE in Calgary from October 18, 2024 to December 11, 2025. The affected products have UPC number 10022.
The CFIA says recalled products should be thrown away or returned to the locations where they were purchased. They should not be consumed.
