Avoids arrest for paying back child support

Whitney Purvis has avoided arrest in an ongoing child support case after paying a huge payout ordered by a judge… TMZ has learned.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, the “16 and Pregnant” alum was on the verge of arrest after a court determined she owed more than $23,000 in child support for her children. Weston Jr.. And River — with ex Weston Gos.
The judge ordered Purvis to be taken into custody and jailed unless she pays a lump sum payment of $4,000 to avoid jail time. Court documents now show she paid the full amount… so the judge overturned the order before she was even arrested.
Purvis is still on the hook as she was ordered to continue paying $353 a month in ongoing child support, plus $20 a month in arrears, plus additional processing fees.
We broke the story… Purvis was previously in police custody after being arrested for a felony. manslaughter charge associated with a suspected fatal overdose. Police said she intentionally distributed Trunk, a mixture of fentanyl and xylazine, which they said caused John Mark Harris die from an overdose of toxic substances.
She also faces two additional drug charges, including possession with intent to distribute. The arrest came just weeks after death of her teenage sonWeston Jr.
